Countering the national dependence upon import of medical devices, and transfer of medical technology as well as job creation were amongst the rationale behind the establishment of such a company.

MPO Reviews Subsidiaries' Q1 Performance and Budgets
On Sunday, August 9, 2025, the review sessions on the programs, budgets, and performance of the subsidiary companies of the Medical Procurement Organization were convened in the organization's conference hall. The meetings were chaired by Dr. Mohammad Reza Shanesaz, Managing Director of the Medical Procurement Organization, and were attended by senior headquarters managers, representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, and the managing directors of the subsidiary companies.
