In a high-level meeting held on July 2, 2025, senior executives from the Medical Procurement Organization of the Iranian Red Crescent Society and Hejrat Distribution Company underscored the urgency of ensuring the timely supply of medicines and medical equipment across the country. Both sides reaffirmed the need for close collaboration to support the sustainable provision of essential health commodities.
Dr. Mohammadreza Shanehsaz, Managing Director
of the Medical Procurement Organization, emphasized the importance of prompt
action given the current sensitive circumstances. He stated, “The timely
provision of medicines and medical equipment remains the organization’s top
priority. Through collaboration with trusted partners such as Hejrat
Distribution Company, we strive to meet the healthcare sector’s needs with both
efficiency and quality.”
Dr. Bahrami Navid, while expressing
appreciation for the Medical Procurement Organization’s continued efforts,
reaffirmed Hejrat Distribution Company’s full readiness to cooperate. He added,
“As a TIPICO subsidiary, we stand prepared to work alongside the Iranian Red
Crescent’s Medical Procurement Organization to play a vital role in securing
the country’s essential healthcare needs.”
This meeting was held as part of ongoing
efforts to strengthen bilateral cooperation aimed at establishing a sustainable
supply chain for medicines and medical equipment nationwide.
