On Sunday, August 9, 2025, the review sessions on the programs, budgets, and performance of the subsidiary companies of the Medical Procurement Organization were convened in the organization's conference hall. The meetings were chaired by Dr. Mohammad Reza Shanesaz, Managing Director of the Medical Procurement Organization, and were attended by senior headquarters managers, representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society, and the managing directors of the subsidiary companies.
According to the Public Relations and International Affairs Unit
of the Medical Procurement Organization, the sessions were also attended by Dr.
Mazaheri, Advisor to the President of the Iranian Red Crescent Society on
Investment and Economic Affairs; Dr. Bagheri, the President’s Representative on
Subsidiary Companies; Dr. Hosseini, Director General of Audit at the Iranian
Red Crescent Society; as well as the managing directors of Helal Iran Medical Devices
Company, Soha Kish Commercial Company, Soha Helal Distribution Company, Soha
Jisa Medicinal Plant Processing and Agro-Industry Company, and Soha
Pharmaceutical Company.
The session commenced with the recitation of verses from the
Holy Quran. Subsequently, Dr. Shanesaz, Managing Director of the Medical Procurement
Organization, welcomed the representatives of the Iranian Red Crescent Society
and other attendees, emphasizing the critical importance of meticulously
evaluating company performance. Following this, the managing director of each
subsidiary presented a report on their performance during the first quarter of
the fiscal year 2026 and the extent to which their corresponding budgets had
been realized. After the presentations, the representatives of the Iranian Red
Crescent Society offered their observations and recommendations, stressing the
need for precise monitoring and coordination in program implementation.
At the conclusion of the meeting, and in light of currency
exchange rate fluctuations, it was decided that company budgets would be
reviewed on a quarterly basis and, where necessary, revised to align with
prevailing economic conditions. The session concluded with the recitation of
